In an era of rapid technological advancements, the public sector faces a pressing need to adapt, innovate, and harness the power of digital transformation.
To catalyse this process, we have initiated a collaborative space that aims to attract visionary early-career researchers, fostering the exchange of cutting-edge ideas, theories, references, and perspectives in the field of public sector digital transformation.
"Fresh Minds" is an initiative from the Innovation of Public Services and Digital Transformation of Governance (INNPULSE) project from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC).
Key Objectives
Our initiative strives to attract fresh minds in the field who are pushing the boundaries of knowledge in public sector digital transformation.
Through a series of virtual and in-person activities, we facilitate the dissemination of the latest research findings, theoretical frameworks, and practical insights.
We provide a unique space where academia, policy experts, and public administration practitioners can engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration.
Virtual seminar series
Our cornerstone activity is a series of virtual seminars, each focusing on a pertinent theme within the realm of public sector digital transformation. During these seminars, leading researchers present their pioneering work, and their insights are complemented by the perspectives of policy experts and public sector practitioners.
The seminars series will focus, among others, on the topics of:
- adoption of emerging technologies in the public sector;
- citizen engagement and collaborative digital public governance;
- data-driven policy making;
- twin transitions;
- governance paradigms.
