Key competences for lifelong learning

The JRC produces frameworks and tools to support policymakers and practitioners in developing and implementing policies and initiatives relating to competence. This work builds on the Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning.

What competences do learners need to acquire and how can they be supported to acquire them? The JRC has produced a series of competence frameworks and tools to support policymakers, educators, and those designing curricula and assessment in their efforts:

European entrepreneurship competence framework.  

Scaffold, a tool for Educators: Produced jointly by the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the JRC, this tool, consisting of a deck of 102 cards, supports the design of learning activities and is based on DigComp, GreenComp, LifeComp and EntreComp
