Scientific support for Food Security and Global Governance - conference report

The report is a thorough review of a JRC organised conference of September 2011, which addressed the role of scientific support to policy making on EU level and beyond in providing access to food for all across the globe in a sustainable way. The conclusions included considerations on the necessity of investing in science and innovation, more strategic and interdisciplinary approach and new global governance for food security.
