Biography Viginta is a researcher working in the Fiscal Policy Analysis team at the JRC-Seville. She contributes to the development and maintenance of EUROMOD and conducts research in the areas of fiscal and social policies, labour markets, and inequality.Before joining the JRC, she worked as a researcher at two European agencies (Eurofound and EIGE), as an economic analyst at the JRC, and as a researcher and lecturer at the Lithuanian Social Research Centre and Vilnius University.Viginta holds a PhD in Social Science, a Master’s degree in Social Policy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Vilnius University (Lithuania). Her research interests lie in the fields of fiscal and social policies, poverty and inequality, job quality, unpaid work, and gender inequality.
