The fairness report defines and measures fairness in a multi-dimensional context and try to address three questions: first, it looks long and short-term trends in income inequality. Second, it assesses how family background and geographical location affect equality of opportunities (equality of outcomes). Finally, the report acknowledges that fairness is subjective, explicitly tackling the issue of perceptions and attitudes.
