Biography
Rocío works as an Economic Analyst at the Fiscal Policy Analysis team of JRC-Seville. She is in charge of the development and maintenance of EDGE-M3, a macroeconomic model for the analysis of pensions and tax reforms.
Her main research interests lie in the area of macroeconomics with household heterogeneity, taxation and public policy.
She holds a PhD in Economics from University of Alicante, where she also obtained her MSc in Quantitative Economics. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. Before joining JRC Seville, she worked at the ECB as a PhD Trainee in DG Economics, Business Cycle Analysis.
