Determination of aflatoxins in defatted peanut powder

The European Union Reference Laboratory for Mycotoxins organised a proficiency test on the determination of aflatoxins in defatted peanut powder.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the measurement capabilities of European National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) and Official Food Control Laboratories (OCLs) for this target analyte.

The test material is contaminated defatted peanut powder. Participants received two samples contaminated at two different levels. The results were reported corrected for recovery and were accompanied by the respective measurement uncertainty.

The performance of the participants was rated by z-scores and zeta-scores.
