The goal of SilaSense project is the generalization of organosilane immobilization protocols by using an underlying trapping layer. They aim at describing the efficiency of the immobilization process and keeping track of the transformation of the layer required to biofunctionalize the surface with proteins of interest. The outcoming results could confirm an innovation based on the generalization of the organosilane biofunctionalization potential to an extended number of substrates, and particularly plastics and paper.
