The 2021 PREDICT Dataset Methodology includes three main sections:
- Description of the construction process behind the PREDICT Dataset, including explanation of the methodology followed for nowcasting, backward reconstruction of the time series, and for ICT GBARD estimation. In this edition, an additional section addresses the methodological issues arising with nowcasting in times of the COVID crisis.
- In Annex I, presentation of all relevant information related to the data collection, including references to official sources of raw data used to calculate the PREDICT statistics for each country, and any ad-hoc remarks.
- In Annex II, correspondence tables between different industrial classifications, and definitions of ICT occupations employed in PREDICT.
