Pablo Casas

Biography

Pablo Casas is an economist at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission where he works as a RHOMOLO modeller in the TErritorial Data Analysis and Modelling (TEDAM) team.

He holds a MsC and a PhD in Economics from the International University of Andalucía. Prior to joining the JRC, he served as a Research Assistant and Substitute Professor at the University of Huelva, and as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.

His main fields of interest are Fiscal Policy, Regional Economics, Technological Change, and Ecological Economics.
