Biography
Kateryna is working as economic analyst at the Fiscal Policy Analysis team of JRC-Seville. She works on the development and maintenance of EUROMOD and contributes to the impact assessment of tax-benefit policies.
Before joining JRC in 2023, she worked as a visiting professor at the University Carlos III of Madrid, and as a researcher at BEROC research center. She worked on impact analysis of fiscal policies on inequality and multidimensional poverty in Eastern European and Central Asia countries. She has collaborated with the World Bank and UNICEF as a consultant.
Kateryna has extensive experience in academic teaching at BA and MA levels as well as capacity building of researchers and practitioners.
Kateryna holds a PhD in Economics from University Carlos III of Madrid (2016), an MA in Economics from Kyiv School of Economics (2004) and a BA in Management from the Odesa National University (2002).
Her research interests lie in the fields of social policy analysis and evaluation, with emphasis on impact on inequality and child development.
