The European Commission's Knowledge Centre on Migration and Demography (KCMD) has expanded the datasets within its Dynamic Data Hub to include children in migration.

This is a first step in compiling a data repository on children in migration, a task assigned to the KCMD by the Commission Communication on the protection of children in migration (COM(2017) 211 final, 12.4.2017).

Data on asylum, residence permits, arrivals and UNHCR’s populations of concern are now disaggregated by age in order to focus on children.

The data sources include Eurostat and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
