Biography
Gemma is an economist working at the Fiscal Policy Analysis team of JRC-Seville. She works on the INEQHEALTH project, which studies the redistributive impact of healthcare systems and affordability and access to healthcare.
Before joining the JRC-Seville in 2023, she earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Luxembourg. She holds an MSc in Specialized Economic Analysis from the Barcelona School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Previously, she also worked as a Research Assistant at IESE Business School in Barcelona.
Her research interests revolve around health, well-being, resilience, inequality and poverty.
