Description
The World Bioeconomy Forum is a global communication platform of the Circular Bioeconomy, which gathers prominent stakeholders for round table talks to showcase biodiversity in practice, with different views on bioeconomy, forestry and versatile interest groups.
The 3rd World Bioeconomy Forum (hosted by FSC) will be streamed live from Ruka (Finland) on 10 September 2020.
The programme consists of 4 sessions broadcast between 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM (EEST).
The Director of the JRC Directorate for Sustainable Resources, Giovanni DE SANTI, will give a presentation on ‘A sustainable forest-based bioeconomy’ during Session 1, which will be opened with a keynote speech by Isidro LASO BALLESTEROS of the Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya GABRIEL.
