Resonances III festival week

The Resonance III Festival celebrates the work of the JRC on a specific theme.

This year's theme, Big Data / AI / Digital Transformation is seen through the prism of Datami.

DATAMI refers to the concept of the multifunctional Japanese tatami mats - places of action, of meditation and of rest.

The Datami is a symbol of the digital intertwining of our lives, of this new universe we find ourselves in, a hybrid between real life and digital life for which a famous philosopher coined the term onlife: not online or offline, but a blending of two worlds that invests and enhances our entire being.

From 14 to 18 October, the Festival celebrates not only their work, but the work of all JRC staff in their mission to develop sound science in support of policymaking of the European Commission.

Installations will be visitable in the opening week each morning from 10.00 to 12.00 where each visitor can meet the artist and/or scientist. In the afternoon, these will be replaced by a facilitator.

Feel like an artist and/or a scientist for just one day… we warmly invite the EU citizen to our site in Ispra for these exclusive days!

• Day@JRC from 10.00 to 17.30 including visit of SciArt installations and talks
• Art@JRC from 10.00 to 14.00 including visit of SciArt installations
• Talks@JRC from 12.00 to 17.30 including talks/conferences.
