Description

JRC's Circular Economy and Industrial Leadership Unit is organising an online brainstorming seminar for a new project: bounCE4ward.
The COVID -19 crisis exposed the EU’s vulnerability to sudden shocks in the global supply chain. This new Centre for Advanced Studies' initiative aims to investigate to what extent the Circular Economy could provide resilience and strategic autonomy for priority supply chains, how circular the EU economy currently is for various sectors, and what actions are most urgently needed.
This webinar is particularly addressed to experts with a proven track record in Circular Economy at European or global level, senior researchers with a strong academic and industrial background in the field, as well as international policy makers and industrial players. It focuses on bringing in new ideas that can help shape this project, which will run for a period of three years, with a core team of four researchers.
