European Innovation Centre for Industrial Transformation and Emissions (INCITE) launch event

A one-of-a-kind initiative that will accelerate the implementation of clean industrial technologies, while contributing to a circular and more competitive industry.

The European Innovation Centre for Industrial Transformation and Emissions (INCITE) is a key element of the new Industrial Emissions Directive, and adds a forward-looking mechanism to the Sevilla process. The Centre will be based in Seville (Spain), at the heart of the EU’s Joint Research Centre, and launched during an interactive event that will take place in the Spanish city next 21 June. The event will feature participants from the industry as well as innovators, financiers, environmental NGOs, think-tanks, Member States, and EU officials. The JRC will participate with Acting Director-General Bernard Magenhann, Deputy Director-General Salla Saastamoinen, and several other speakers. Check out the programme to learn more.
