This is the 2nd workshop organized in the follow up of the European High Level Nuclear Round Table on medical applications, hosted by former EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel. The workshop aims to focus on the necessary nuclear competences and skills to ensure the sustainability of medical applications of nuclear science in Europe.

Description
The workshop will address nuclear competences and skills to ensure the sustainability of medical applications of nuclear science, throughout their life cycle and within a broad range of activities, spanning from research to production and clinical use. The discussion will identify the main components of the workforce necessary for nuclear health technologies. It will also discuss the issues of monitoring supply and demand of skilled professionals and propose recommendations for establishing a dialogue and cooperation between stakeholders from the academia, the industry, professional associations and the European Commission.
This workshop will be held as a hybrid event and can also be followed via Webex.

Please note that the attendance is limited by the capacity of the room and the requests will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
Attending the workshop is free of charge, and no reimbursement for travel and hotel costs will granted.
