Description
The European Commission’s Annual Research Conference, focusing on ‘Charting the European economy post Covid-19: unusual times require unconventional policies’, will take place on 15 November 2021.
Organised since 2004, the 2021 edition of the Annual Research Conference (ARC) is co-organised by the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission.
This year, DG ECFIN and the JRC invite the European Central Bank (ECB), the European Investment Bank (EIB), Eurofound and Conference participants to chart the European economy post COVID-19, recognising that unusual times require unconventional policies. The Conference welcomes the findings of the High-Level Group convened by Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni discussing the challenges posed by Europe by the post-pandemic economy and society.
