Biography

Daniele is an ICT consultant, analyst and full stack developer. He designs and implements IT systems related to the world of crisis management. He works in collaboration with the European civil protection and with the analytical team in the creation of a Global Situation System (GSS) that integrates geo-localised data from different sources and displays the results in a coherent way. His work supports other colleagues working with data management and data science.

Over the past years he was also involved in creating a “sea Levels database” used to feed and validate models capable of describing events like tsunamis and cyclones, and validating their results. Previous work experiences

Before arriving at the JRC Daniele worked as a technical-IT sector manager for a company of which he was a partner, in the insurance sector. During this period he developed - in addition to the skills of designing and developing IT systems - also those of project management and team coordination.

Academic background

Daniele has graduated in Electronic Engineering at the “Politecnico di Milano”, with a specialization on informatics and a thesis in “Object Oriented Medical databases”.
