Alessandro Sasso

Alessandro Sasso is a quantitative policy analyst at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and works to perform impact evaluation analysis of EU programmes.

Biography

Alessandro Sasso liaises with scientists and policy analysts in the field of impact evaluation.

He is in charge of initiating and maintaining partnerships and networks in various science-policy fields, strengthening contacts with the relevant scientific community and with policy DGs in relation to the specific projects assigned (particularly with DG COMP and DG CNECT).

Before, Alessandro worked at The University of Sheffield as a Research Associate (Health Econometrician), where he performed his research to answer policy-relevant questions in the fields of Public Health and Health Economics.

Alessandro holds a PhD in Economics at The University of Sheffield in 2018. He has over 10 peer-reviewed publications, policy papers, and several undergoing research projects.
