Collaboration agreements - Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP)

Collaboration agreements of the Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) programme have an initial duration of 5 years, and can be renewed or extended.

The JRC ensures equal treatment of all applicants. Therefore, changes to the contractual conditions deviating from the template would only be admissible for imperative reasons in order to take into account the particular situation of the HEI/university and its PhD arrangements and/or legal circumstances that would otherwise impede participation

Annexes A and B of the collaboration agreement will be negotiated between JRC and HEI/university.

• Annex A contains the scientific part of the collaboration. It is prepared jointly between the HEI/university and JRC scientific staff. This also includes co-selection of the topics of the doctoral thesis.
• Annex B sets the conditions and criteria for selection of the PhD student. The pre-selection will be carried out by the HEI/university and the final selection by the JRC.
• Annex C determines the Personal Data Protection Rules of the European Commission ().
