What we do
We provide modelling support and research in the area of fiscal policy to the European Commission services.
We contribute to evidence-based fiscal policies that enable the attainment of the social, economic and environmental objectives of the European Union.
Our unit maintains, updates and develops state-of-the-art modelling tools to support European Commission proposals and recommendations, in line with the European Union objectives.
Our main areas of activity deal with taxation and social benefits for households, corporate taxation and pension modelling.
The JRC provides modelling support and research in the area of fiscal policy to the European Commission services.
