In recent years, the use of post-installed anchors to connect the haunch elements with the structural members was investigated, which represents a promising alternative for strengthening of joints of existing structures with low invasion. The Hi-RES project aims to investigate the behaviour of full scale two-storey, one at “bare” state and one after the application of haunch retrofit solutions. The tests will provide the database to the researchers for the verification of the models and to develop consistent provisions for the next generation of the European seismic codes.
