Market-driven access

The market-driven access mode applies when access is defined through an agreement between the user and the JRC research infrastructure leading to a "full" fee for the access.

Access is mainly targeted to industry and for-profit institutions, as well as to, or in partnership with research institutions. Projects will be selected by the JRC facility delivering access, placing emphasis on strategic importance at EU level and on the uniqueness of the JRC facilities in providing access.

Relevance-driven access

The relevance-driven access is exclusively dependent on scientific and socio-economic relevance at European level.

Training and Capacity Building for Enlargement and Integration Countries

The JRC offers access to its non-nuclear facilities to researchers and scientists from countries associated to the EU Research Programme Horizon 2020.
