The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's department responsible for creating and managing much of the knowledge used to support the European Commission's policies. Operating in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, with 2000 researchers, the JRC is currently seeking research fellows with sound scientific research experience and a desire to work at the interface of science, knowledge and policy, in the following fields:

Who can apply?

You can apply if:

  1. You are a citizen of one of the EU Member States or from Associated Countries;
  2. You have a level of education corresponding to completed university studies of at least three (3) years attested by a diploma and at least five (5) years of professional experience in one of the fields mentioned above (they are also listed in sections II and VI of the call) OR a doctoral diploma in one of these fields.
