Testing Facilities for Space, Connectivity and Quantum

TOSCA is an ecosystem of laboratories and experimental facilities supporting policy areas in the field of space, connectivity and quantum technologies. TOSCA brings together well-established laboratories from the JRC site in Ispra, Italy, such as the European Microwave Signature Laboratory with its characteristic anechoic dome, the Radio Spectrum Lab and the Position, Navigation and Timing Lab, with more-recently established laboratories supporting emerging technology and policy areas, such as the Quantum Communication and Sensing Lab and the Satellite Communications Lab.

Position, Navigation and Timing Laboratory

This laboratory facilitates the development of Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) services and user segment technology, including navigation platforms and prototype user equipment exploiting Galileo and future PNT systems and services.
