The Territorial Data Analysis and Modelling (TEDAM) team provides quantitative economic analyses and policy impact assessments with a focus on the European territorial dimension (up to the NUTS 2 regional level).

The work of the team is organised along two pillars:

  • The RHOMOLO pillar (Regional Holistic Model) focuses on modelling for policy impact assessment with the dynamic spatial computable general equilibrium (CGE) model RHOMOLO.
  • The REMO pillar (Regional Economic Monitoring) focuses on the mapping, monitoring and analysis of key regional statistical data and indicators, as well as micro-level data.

See here a list of recent TEDAM scientific publications. The policy support activity of the team is summarised in the 'Policy support and briefs' page.

The team regularly organises and co-organises scientific workshops with partners like the European Regional Science Association (ERSA) and its Italian and Spanish branches, and the Regional Studies Association (RSA)

The TEDAM activities include the production and management of data. Its datasets are available in this collection at the JRC Data Repository, and the Territorial Economic Data viewer is available here.

The Newsletter periodically summarises the most recent TEDAM outputs and activities.
