Stavros Vlachos

Biography

Stavros is a researcher and an economist that applies experimental and survey data analysis methodologies to understand the behaviour of individuals and how they make decisions in different environments (markets). 

He received a PhD in Economics from the Queen’s Business School of Belfast and a MSc from the University of Reading. 

Before joining SMAC, Stavros worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in several policy related projects including mainly microeconomic applications in the context of agri-food sector, energy, health and sustainable food consumption. 

Stavros also maintains interest in the areas of environmental health and economics of education.
