Determination of ochratoxin A (OTA) in spices, cocoa and cocoa products
The European Union Reference Laboratory for Mycotoxins (EU-RL Mycotoxins) will organise by the end of January 2016 an inter-laboratory comparison for the validation of an analytical method (MVS) to determine ochratoxin A (OTA) in spices, cocoa and cocoa products.
The method is based on solvent extraction, immunoaffinity column purification (IAC), and detection/quantitation by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled with fluorescence detection (FLD).
