The main objective of this exercise was to evaluate the capabilities of the nominated national reference laboratories in calculating the uncertainty associated to their measurements.
Only appointed national reference laboratories could participate in this exercise.
Test materials and analytes
The test material to be analysed was mineral water. One bottle/participant/method was sent to the participants during the second half of April 2007. The measurands are total Cd, Pb and Hg.
