Aprašymas
The importance of using certified reference materials in the measurement process is outlined. From this key function, certain requirements on the certification procedure of such materials can be derived, which are now laid down as international recommendations in the form of ISO Guides. As an example of applying these principles in the field of glass research, the certification of the reference material IRMM-435 for the determination of the alkali release from the interior surface of pharmaceutical glass containers is presented.
