Dual-Phase steel bars are provided by excellent ductility and durability, being less exposed to corrosion respect to ordinary reinforcing steels, but the use of dual-phase steel in civil engineering is limited because technical, mechanical and numerical models for Dual-Phase reinforcing bars sections, elements, substructures and structures are missing. GENIUS aims at the analysis of the seismic behaviour of Reinforced Concrete buildings with Dual-Phase reinforcing bars.
