The definition, compilation and analysis of indicators on digital policies is beneficial for policymakers, researchers and stakeholders. It allows them to get information on the main drivers, trends and impacts of the digital transition in the public sector in different EU regions.Our activities focus on optimising monitoring of the digital policies related to the European public sector, from implementation to communication, with the ambition of creating public value. Monitoring plays an essential role in evidence-based policy formulation making it possible to anticipate emerging needs and opportunities. It also supports the design, implementation and evaluation of effective digital policies and strategies at different levels (EU, national and subnational), like the Interoperable Europe Act proposal.
