Biography
Marta Fana is currently researcher in the Employment and Skills team of the Joint Research Centre, mainly working on the dynamics of occupational structures, work organisation, automation and structural change.
She has a PhD in Economics from the University of SciencePo Paris. Previously, she has been lecturer in microeconomics, political economy and labour market.
She has published academic papers on changes in the labour market and their determinants, the dynamic of socio-economic inequality among social groups as well as two books on labour market and the political economy of the wage issue in Italy since WWII.
