Biography
Lorenzo Gabrielli is a Data Scientist part of the JRC Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) Project on Computational Social Science for Policy to carry out scientific tasks i.e. harness non-traditional data including big data, analyze it and draw conclusions on its impact on society.
Over the last years, he has gained experience in the analysis of Big Data with Data Mining and Machine Learning techniques in a national and international context collaborating with several public and private research institutes. He has excellent experience in managing geospatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and programming languages (Python, and R).
