The EU Policy Lab is a physical space designed to foster creativity and engagement to develop interactions, processes and tools contributing to bring innovation in the European policy-making. Our work is articulated around four complementary dimensions: Foresight, Behavioural Insights, Design for Policy and Citizen Engagement.
Likewise other policy labs, the emphasis is on testing, experimenting and co-designing with our stakeholders by using tailored made approaches and relying a lot on visualisation.
Our work focuses on foresight and horizon scanning to look into the longer-term impact of policies and anticipate implications of emerging societal challenges, while exploring how people behave and respond to different policy instruments, in a context where design and visual communication contribute to co-create and prototype effective policies for all citizens.
