Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart

The Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart (KNC) provides scientists and students nuclear data on 4,122 experimentally observed ground states and isomers; most recent values of the atomic weights, isotopic abundances and cross sections.

The Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart (KNC) provides scientists and students nuclear data on 4,122 experimentally observed ground states and isomers; most recent values of the atomic weights, isotopic abundances and cross sections.

It contains structured, accurate information on the half-lives and decay modes of radionuclides, as well as the energies of emitted radiation. Beyond the more traditional physical sciences such as health physics and radiation protection, nuclear and radiochemistry, and astrophysics, the Chart is now in wide and common usage in the life and earth sciences. It also has a great didactic value for education and training in the nuclear sciences.

Both online and printed versions of the Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart are available at Nucleonica website. The website is accessible to registered users only. A fee is charged to access or use it.

The latest information about the Nuclide Chart can be found: Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart – New 11th edition 2022.

The actual training on the Karlsruhe Nuclide Chart may be provided within other nuclear-related trainings offered by JRC (gamma-spectrometry, nuclear security) upon customer request.
