- Youth: a life through a pandemic
- Pollinators decline: can you make the difference?
Applying to the programme
If you're a maker who has never visited an EU Commission research facility and wants to venture on a journey spanning science, technology and art, the JRC makers-in-residence programme could help you to have a unique experience.
You can apply online to this open call.
Selection is based on submitted original projects. Projects and makers with experience in citizen engagement and citizen science activities will be given a priority.
Selected makers will be granted a funded residency and invited to develop their project at the JRC makerspace.
JRC makerspace approach
The approach that JRC makerspace adopts is open and collaborative. It fosters dialogues and exchanges of ideas with the JRC scientists and the local community.
Functioning at the interface between science and policy, the JRC makerspace is positioned as a unique space within the maker movement. It offers a direct connection with the policy realm in an open and dynamic environment.
