Biography
Ignacio González Vázquez is an economic and policy analyst currently working in the Joint Research Center on issues related to employment, social and education policies.
In the Commission he has also worked in the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, and the Cabinet of the Member responsible for Economic and Monetary Affairs.
Outside the Commission he has worked as economic analyst for the government of Andalusia. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Seville, and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
