Laboratory visits
The programme includes an optional visit to one of the JRC laboratories, either the European Laboratory for Structural Assessment (ELSA) or the Vehicle Emissions Laboratory (VELA). When completing the registration, please indicate if you would like to attend the laboratory part. Non-JRC staff is encouraged to use the bus which leaves from the reception at 15:45 to go to the laboratories.

Transport arrangements
Non-JRC participants are invited to use the bus from the JRC reception to the laboratory and/or the Auditorium. The transport is available:
- at 15:45 for the participants attending the laboratory visit
- from 16:30 to 17:45 from the reception to the event venue/aperitivo area

The event is free and open to general public, but places are limited.

About Pecha Kucha format:
PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format designed in Tokyo. The presentations are structured around 20 images, which are shown for 20 seconds each. The images advance automatically, so each presentation is just 6 minutes and 40 seconds long.

Languages
The event will be held in English and in Italian. Simultaneous interpretation is provided into both languages.
