Description
The ICE conference is the traditional event where the entire community working on the implementation of the common agricultural policy (CAP) Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) meets to discuss technical aspects. With the new CAP and its innovative elements coming into force in 2023, the collaboration of all stakeholders is more important than ever to ensure that the best methods and tools are used to make the CAP achieve its goals.
The conference is an opportunity for Member States to share best practices and challenges in the implementation of IACS and its quality assessment. It promotes discussions between the Commission and Member States to find technical solutions that facilitate the implementation of the CAP 2023-2027 and reduce the burden on farmers and Member States.
Research centres and private companies will present the latest technical developments, thus providing a link to scientific research on agricultural monitoring. Synergies and interactions with other policies at European level are also explored and discussed.
Participants are welcome to propose contributions (oral presentations, posters, stand for exhibitors) and topics for discussion in the registration form (soon available).
Conference registration and social events are free of charge, but travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants.
As the conference will be held during a period of intense tourism due to the grape harvest in the beautiful region of Reims, we recommend booking accommodation as early as possible. Currently, on the usual commercial sites for booking hotels and flats, one can find accommodation for any price range.
The conference will start on Tuesday 9 September 2025 at 9:30 am. Considering the available transports from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport (shuttles or fast train), we strongly recommend that you arrive the day before.
The conference will be held in English only, no interpretation service will be offered.
