Elena Luptak is lecturer, choregrapher, and performer.

Prof Luptak is lecturer, choregrapher and performer. She studied dance pedagogy at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna (now MUK), and trained at Studio Allegro Bratislava.

Her lecturing experience includes roles as head of training at the professional dance company Homunculus 1996-2001, guest teacher at St. Pölten, Bratislava and at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Universityin Istanbul. In addition, she has ben guest expert at the Master of Social Design / University of Applied Arts Vienna, 2012-2014.

Since 1998, she has taught at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, focusing on contemporary dance, release, and applied theory. She has supervised bachelor's theses and the Erasmus study exchange program, and coordinated participation in the international festival "Share".

Prof Luptak has worked on the design and choreography of numerous artistic projects with international partners and universities. She has had intensive phases of professional perfomance with dance companies Allegro (1983-1989) and Homunculus (1996-2001).
