Biography
Andrea Papini is an Economic Analyst of the Fiscal Policy Analysis team at the JRC-Seville. His research focuses on empirical public economics and tax-benefit microsimulation analysis.
Before joining the JRC-Seville in January 2019, he was a senior research officer at ISER, University of ESSEX.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the department of economics at the University of Oslo. His doctoral thesis is titled "Three essays on Self-employment and taxation".
His research focuses on empirical public economics, in particular he is interested on the effects of tax-benefit systems and labour market institutions on income inequality and work incentives.
