The Europa Science Experience (ESE) is a focal point for welcoming visitors to the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and promoting our values and scientific work to support EU policy making.Located at the JRC Ispra site, ESE is a nearly zero energy building that showcases the European Commission's commitment to sustainability and innovation. The facility embodies the principles of the New European Bauhaus initiative. The ESE features two main spaces. The Cube is a glass-enclosed area that highlights the JRC's rich history and role within the European Commission. In the exhibition area, visitors can explore the impact of JRC research on their daily lives by virtually meeting with scientists or immersing themselves in exciting virtual reality experiences.The facility is also an important tool for educational outreach and groups from secondary schools and universities are welcome.
